Walk, running and cycle event disclaimer:
I (the customer) understand that I am taking part in an event which will require me to undertake vigorous exercise for a prolonged period. I will have, if necessary, gained advice from my GP as to whether I am physically prepared to undertake the event. I also understand that I will only undertake any of the challenges on the event if I feel that I am physically able to do so.
I am also aware that there is a risk of personal injury due to the nature of the event I am undertaking.
Whole Hog Event disclaimer:
These events are not for the faint hearted and are designed to be rigorous on both mind and body.
I (the customer) will have, if necessary, gained advice from my GP as to whether I am physically prepared to undertake the event.
I understand that these races involve running distances over rough terrain and undertaking man-made and natural obstacles. I agree that the Whole Hog team (Eight Point Two) accept no responsibility for any injury incurred whilst undertaking the races. 8.2 strongly recommend that I get my own insurance to cover for any injury incurred on the event.
I understand that by ‘checking’ the terms and conditions box on the booking form that I am agreeing to the terms and conditions.
Note:
Participants should be completely aware that these challenges bring together a selection of people, from different organisations, with different levels of ability and aims for the challenge. Eight Point Two and its staff will make every effort to manage these differences, however at times instructors may have to make difficult and unpopular decisions. These will always be made in the interest of safety, and to achieve a balance between, the maximum numbers of participants completing the challenge in the best time possible for that particular group, and an individual’s needs.
